Pamela is a Corporate Director and a retired Vice Chairman of a public accounting and consulting firm. She is the independent director and chairs the audit committee of BJI Holdings, (Brown Jordan International) a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of quality home furnishings and contract furnishings. Pamela is a member of the board of directors of the Financial Planning Standards Board Ltd. (FPSB) and the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) New York Chapter. She is a former member of the board of directors of BDO Seidman, LLP (now BDO USA, LLP) and served on the compensation committee and the partner matters and management review committees. Prior to joining the board of directors, she chaired the nominating committee for selection of candidates for the board. Pamela previously served on the advisory boards of Planitax, Inc., a leading SAAS (software as a service) provider to corporate tax departments, and Pension Governance, LLC, a web enabled information services company focused on the pension community. She has also served as a director and Secretary of the Women's Forum Inc., a community of preeminent New York women leaders and as chair of the audit committee of the Financial Women's Association (FWA) of New York, an organization dedicated to the advancement of women.

Pamela had a very successful career in public accounting which culminated in serving as the National Business Line Leader for Tax Services, a Vice Chairman and as a member of the Board of Directors of BDO Seidman, LLP, which is the US member firm of BDO International, the fifth largest global accounting and consulting firm. As National Business Line Leader, she held profit and loss responsibility for the US tax practice, comprised of thirty-seven offices, and achieved double digit increases in revenue and profitability by focusing on operations, quality control, risk management, education, technology and human resources. As Vice Chairman she shared management responsibility for all US operations when the firm delivered record earnings for three consecutive years. Pamela also held oversight responsibility for the firm's alliance program which grew by 375% during her tenure. Earlier in her career Pamela served as a tax and business advisor to professional service and financial service firms, manufacturing, distribution and retail companies, and high net worth individuals. Her client base included entrepreneurial, family owned, management controlled and multinational companies. Throughout her career she published numerous articles, served as an editor, presented at professional conferences, was quoted in the media, appeared on business news shows and was a frequent speaker on business strategy and leadership issues.

Pamela provides strategic advisory services to senior executives and businesses primarily in the professional and financial service sectors through a company she formed, Strategic Enterprises, LLC. She also writes and speaks on corporate governance matters.

Pamela graduated from NC School of the Arts High School with a ballet major. She earned a BBA in Accounting, summa cum laude from Baruch College, an MS in Taxation from Pace University and attended Harvard Business School for executive education. She is a CPA and a member of the AICPA and NYSSCPA.

Pamela is a Past President and member of the FWA, and a member of the International Women's Forum. She is a member of National Association of Corporate Directors and is recognized as an NACD Governance Fellow. Pamela is also a member of Women Corporate Directors.
