J. Thomas Presby is a director of a number of companies and further serves as a business advisor, arbitrator/mediator and expert witness. He presently serves on the boards of American Eagle Outfitters, AMVESCAP Plc, Tiffany & Co., Turbochef Technologies, Inc., and World Fuel Services Corporation. Tom is a member of the audit and nominating and governance committee at Tiffany and chairs the audit committees at American Eagle Outfitters, AMVESCAP Plc and Turbochef Technologies and World Fuel Services.

Previously he spent 30 years with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu (and predecessor firms) rising to the position of Deputy Chairman and Chief Operating Officer. Tom’s prior board service includes Deloitte & Touche USA (elected Chairman) for ten years; Deloitte & Touche France, Belgium, CIS Europe; Rutgers University trustee; French American Foundation; and Carnegie Mellon University Graduate School of Industrial Administration. He is on the board of the German Marshall Fund of the USA ($200 million endowment) where he is chairman of the audit committee.

Tom received a BS from Rutgers, an MS from Carnegie Mellon and completed graduate work in accounting at the University of Dayton. He is a certified public accountant in New York and Ohio, as well as a certified management consultant.
